The hands will often solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain.
— Carl Jung
What if scissors, glue, and images were unexpected keys to manifesting your biggest goals? The powerful SoulCollage® process activates our intuition and imagination, revealing knowledge and skills that aren’t available through logical thinking alone. Developed by Seena Frost, MA, and based on the work of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung, this engaging practice helps us recognize our strengths, gain clarity, and increase confidence in our ability to achieve what we desire. Studies show that engaging with this intuitive method often results in innovative solutions and solid movement towards our goals.
In this one-hour workshop, you'll be introduced to the foundations of SoulCollage®, then gently led through the process of creating your own collaged card. With guided reflective writing, you’ll interpret your creation to find its meaning, uncovering affirmations, insights, and direction that will help you on the path to manifesting your vision.
A background in art or writing is not necessary or required. An easy-to-obtain materials list is provided below.
Join us for an hour that could inspire your next breakthrough!
Items to have on hand:
• 5x8 piece of cardstock or cardboard to use as a base (or simply fold an 8.5 x 11 page in half)
• 5-6 images of people, animals, and objects
• 5-6 larger background images (nature settings, interiors, patterns)
• Glue stick
• Scissors
• Pen and paper or journal
How to select these images: Sit back and have some fun flipping through magazines and tearing out pages with images that resonate with you, move you, or somehow seem to be calling out to you. Try to avoid overthinking it and simply go with what captures your attention. Don’t worry about cutting anything at this point - we’ll get to that in the workshop! You’re also welcome to work with digital images using the platform of your choice.
